Il 28 agosto Knowles è tornata sul palco degli Mtv Video Music Awards dove ha vinto nella categoria Best Choreography con "Run the World (Girls)" e dove si è esibita con il brano Love On Top. Pochi giorni dopo, il 20 settembre il brano, inviato alle radio americane, debuttò alla posizione 20 della Billboard Hot 100, divenendo il secondo miglior "primo piazzamento" di Beyoncé.
